Hi,

I have done lots of traveling using a cane and I probably have been in
dangerous situations that I wasn't fully aware of, but I was fortunately
raised by parents who were very supportive and encouraged me to be
independent. When I travel, I do not worry about anything and take
actions as the environment presents them to me. When I was young, I
hitch hiked a lot, because that is the only way I could get where I
wanted to go. I don't think I'd do that today with all the crazies out
there.

I also traveled across country on the old Grey Hound Amera Pass.

Like others have said, I don't like to wear anything on my head, but in
the wintr I will wear a stocking cap that doesn't cover my ears and I
will wear a straw hat if I'm out in the sun for a long time, but that
really messes up my facial vision.
