Barb,

Congrats on the new toy.  As for setting up pf keys, there is a 
multitude of things you can do, but I keep mine set up to provide voice 
readouts  in transmit.

PF A is menu 79 and I set this to 201, which gives S meter in RX and 
power output during  TX.

PF B is menu 80,  and I set this to menu 202 which gives   swr or alc or 
compression, depending on how the "meter" key is toggled.
