yeah, and you can use the baofeng/wouxun programming cable just fine for a
fraction of the cost of the kenwood part.
I think they're about6 bucks on ebay from many different sellers.
I use the cable that came with my baofeng uv5r to program my thF6A.

Subject: THF6A Interface Cable Needed

Hi, Folks. Of course something's missing when you need it most,
right? Anyone know if the interface cables for the Kenwood THF6A are
still available? They have a DB9 female connetor at one end, and an
speaker out and mic jack at the other end. I need the cable to
reprogram my rig, and of course, can't find mine. Are they still
available? Thanks in advance.--Matt, N1IBB.
