No, you have to use SSB with the main receiver. The Aux receiver is FM only.

Subject: quick ts-2000question

Hi List,

I'm curious about something that I read in the ts2000 manual this =
morning.=20

I read that you can't use the subreciever for anhtying other then fm and =
am on vhf/uhf. Does this mean you can't use the TS2000 for ssb and cw =
work on vhf and UHF? Or do you have to do it with the main reciever? =20

I'm hoping that that is the case, otherwise, I may have to rethink =
purchasing the 2000 in favor of a less accessible Icom. =20

Thanks, and 73,
Chris, w8cjs
