I have an unidentified control box. It was given to me quite a few
years ago by a local ham who said it was given to him and was
supposed to be some sort of auditory rotator control box. That's all
he knew about it. No more info came with the box. Its front panel
has a sixteen key pad, and to the left of the pad, there are two
horizontal rectangles, which might be lamps of some sort. The back
panel of the box has what looks like a reset button, a fuse holder
and an eight pin Jones plug. There is also a large transformer came
along with the box. Quite heavy, and if it is low voltage it is a
hell of a lot of current.
Is it of any value to a blind ham? Anyone on the list interested in
having it? My days of rotatable antennaes are in the past.
We had a mice invasion this winter and we are cleaning up the debris
and I am finding things that went missing in the shack. I know I've
promised a couple of things to folks on the list, and when they
surface, I'll get them on their way. I've not forgotten.
Thanks a lot for any help.
Pat, K9JAU
