that's pretty typical of a lithium battery pack.
They work at full capacity up until they die...and there's no real obvious 
warning that it's gonna die...not like old NiMH or NiCD battery packs that 
would just slowly tail off until there just wasn't enough juice to keep the 
receiver going.

Speaking of batteries, does anyone use the energizer lithium double A 
batteries?  I've yet to try them, but they seem pretty good...up to 8 times 
longer than a typical alcaline battery....probably 8 times more expensive 
too hi hi.

I've got an HT here that has an 8 sell double A pack that I might try those 
lithium batteries in.
