Hey JEFFREY!

I am very pleased to know that you got that technician license all right. I
mean, you passed the test!

As far as blind-friendly radios, I happen to like the HTX-202. I bought my
late husband one for a Christmas present a couple years ago because he fell
in love with mine and how easy it was to use without sight. Now, they're
not making those radios anymore, so if you can find them, do it quickly!
The rig I used before that was an Icom 2-AT, which used little thumb wheels
to control the frequency, and those are not made anymore either. But I gave
that radio to my husband who dropped it one day and that was the end of it.
Now, before anybody makes the decision that John, W 9 E O P, was
irresponsible, he was not. He was very ill. He had hand tremors that
prevented him from doing most tasks like writing or holding onto things
without dropping or spilling them.

73 and 88 to you Jeffrey,
Reeva, K8DMU
