If the second receiver is in memory it won't tune it either. I know what you 
mean though, that control is very touchy, drove me crazy until I started 
keeping the second receiver in memory mode. I'm remembering all this stuff 
now, I just put up a duel band antenna yesterday, nothing for HF very sadly 
yet but hopefully that will be very soon. I wanted the HF up first but my 
help said the duel bander was easier to go first. Oh well. It's in a tree.
