Sounds like you have PL decode turned on, and the decode is for a different
PL than the repeater transmits.

The radios do hear each other. The problem is that when I let go of the =
PTT button on the Puxing I get no courtesy tone or sound of the repeater =
dropping, when in reality the transmission went through perfectly fine =
as I heard it 100 percent on my other radio.
