Acording to ham radio outlet, it has the data base for all over the country-and i just have to plug in my zip code.

The gentleman said I might have to get help updating the database.

I was also given the website marksscanners.com <http://marksscanners.com/> for checking out the easy to read user guide for this unit.

the user guide is for the BCD436HP <http://www.scannermaster.com/Wallet_sized_Quick_Reference_for_Uniden_BCD436HP_p/47-511880.htm&Click=64337> and the BCD536HP units.
