I had the TR 7600 which is the 10 watt version.  The only difference that I
know of is the 7625 is 25 watts.  I haven't used it is some time.  on the
left half of the radio is 4-position switch which is the megahertz ie 144,
145, 146 and 147.  in the center of the radio is a double knob which gives
you the hundreds, the inside knob, and the tens, the outside knob.  On the
right half of the radio there are a few push buttons.  One of them gives you
the 5 on the end of a frequency, such as 147.285 or the like.  On the upper
right corner is a memory set and recall, there it only one memory.  there is
also a button the change from low to high power and another to set the PL if
you have it installed.  I hope this helps.  73
