I recall from my sighted days reading a copy of qst in which was
illustrated a fellow standing on the deck of a ship and yelling down one of
the pipes that ran below deck.  He was yelling "HEY MAC!!!!"  t
tHIS WAS TO SIMULATE THE ACT OF SENDING C Q.
     fFrom my own point of view, it reminds me of casting my line from the
bank with a fresh worm on the hook and seeing my line fall in the perfect
spot.  Then comes the anticipation of the first tug on the line.
