Richard,

I think some more definitive data is called for here.  If you have RF in
your audio, the most likely culprit is the antenna.  What are you using for
an antenna?  also, it seems to me you should indeed be using a 35 amp supply
for the 430.  What size supply are you using now?  If you need a cable to
connect the rig and supply, do what I did and buy one of the Jet Stream
cables from R&L electronics.  BTW, thanks Lou Kline for that recomendation.
