Hi Jim,
Yes I think CW would qualify as a form of digital communications. Since it
is an on and off mode.

My apartment faces south.

I'll also probably want to program in some ten and six meter repeaters into
the rig.

I used to enjoy ten fm when I lived in Philly immensely.

The only thing I know about Martinez is there little train station that I've
passed thru on the way to the Bay area.
