Hi:

You don't say whether your problems are with the computers talking to each
other, or your router reaching the web.

You don't need to run the set-up disk.
The menus can be accessed by:
Start
Run
http://192.168.1.1

this will bring up the settings for the router.

You may need to find some settings from your ISP TO INPUT INTO THE OPENING
SCREEN IN ORDER TO establish your connection to the web.

The menus are cascading ones, a little confusing initially, but the web
interface is well useable.

HTH

Subject: Linksys computer Router

I have three computers networked together using a Linksys router cabled =
to a modem. I am using category 5 to network all three computers. I =
have been having problems for some time and I have long suspected my =
Linksys router. I have purchased a new Linksys Router and I would like =
to know if I need to run the enclosed disk for setting up the router or =
if I can just connect the router without running the disk for setup. I =
have a new modem so the modem is not my problem. I will appreciate any =
suggestions on this. Seventythree,

Best Wishes,
