Hi All,

Just had to give you an update on the SteppIr control box speech board that
Rob Santello has developed. It is nothing short of great!

I now know the purpose of every button on the control box and can use them
to tweak the antenna for optimal tuning. In addition to being able to use
all the functions of the SteppIr box the speech on the accompanying
controller is completely customizeable. It makes this great antenna even
better and you have the confidence of knowing exactly where you are and what
you are doing. If you already have a SteppIr, I would say this adaptive
unit is a must! If you do not have a SteppIr but have considered one, there
is now no reason you should not get one because you can now fully and easily
use it.

I have the vertical, but it is the same speech controller for the beam.
It's intuitive, completely customizeable and fun to use. I'm going to love
my SteppIr even more from now on I'm certain. You can use the SteppIr with
out this talking unit, but you are missing a lot of information and
functionality.

If you would like more information contact Rob K6DQ. He is on this list.
This is a device that makes one more piece of ham gear completely accessible
for us.
