Tom, as some of us say in our retirement years:

I'm going to just pace myself today; don't want to run out of nothing to
do!! <Smile>

Seriously, I think I know you well enough to know that you won't have any
trouble keeping yourself busy. That is really the key to a happy, successful
retirement, keeping yourself active and engaged in some kind of meaningful
activities. Again, I'm sure you won't have any problem doing that. If you
get bored, you and I can collaborate on some kind of research project. After
all, there is a great deal of overlap between sociology and marketing. In
fact, we marketers stole most of what we do from you sociologists and from
the discipline of psychology. That is why I was a triple major in
undergraduate school: sociology, psychology, and business.

There are always more books to read, podcasts to listen to, things to search
for and study on the internet, ham radio nets, rag chewing, DX to chase,
awards to go after, special event stations to work, antennas to put up,
friends to get together with, a new restaurant to check out, places to
travel to, family to visit, cruises to go on, and above all: keep your wife
happy!

Ron, K8HSY
