Boy, this isn't your week.

What happens? does the amp trip off (go into protection mode)?


You connected the RCA cables to the tuner, but  did you also set the 
switch to enable this in the amp?

It works here, but I don't have that amp. Truth be told, most of the 
time I just flip the bypass switch  for a tune, but sometimes I forget 
and  the relay in the tuner works like it should.
