Try an inexpensive speech synthesizer that you can hook up to the PC. If I
recall, Double Talk will either hook up to a serial or parallel port, most
other synthesizers need to go on a serial port.

Then, you can change to that synthesizer and use your soundcard for other
apps, including real audio or wav files.

Subject: SEPARATE SPEECH CABABILITY!!!

Hi Everyone;

I know this isn't the wright list to post this to but, please tell me what I
could use that would let me free up my sound card for the internet and yet
let me listen to JAWS.

If their is another list that would address this, please let me know.

Thank you.

Anthony
