I absolutely agree with Butch.

I have three TMV71A's--one for the house, one for the car, and one for the 
RV.

Have never had any trouble with any of the rigs, and they have been well 
used over the past 4 or 5 years or so.

One of the advantages of getting the programming software and cable is that 
if you do need to do a re-set for any reason, you can get memories, menu 
settings, and other parameters back with a very simple series of steps.

In my experience, every problem I have ever had), has been corrected by one 
of the re-set options.

So, Daryn:  Enjoy that new rig!
