Hi John;
I used an ic735 about one hundred years ago and it was a fun little radio. As I recall there wasn't a menu system to battle with. At the time I believe the qsyer was made by someone else but a qsyer will definitely work.

  Hi all, I have a chance to pick up an Icom IC735 at a very good price and
  I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this rig? I know
  it doesn't have a voice chip, but it does have a 25KHz marker, thouugh
  the switch is internal. Does anyone know if it can be computer controled
  or if you can use a QSYer on it?

  Thanks in advanced and 73:
  J.
