The last time I visited the fcc page to try and renew it was not very
accessible to internet explorer.

You will at any rate need a tin (tax payer identification number) and a
password to enter the cors system, this is the page for renewing.

When my wife just did this she did it through w5yi and they took care of the
paperwork for something like 6 dollars.
