Hi. The VGS1 is the optional chip that you can get with the radio to make it
talk. I had HRO install mine when I bought my radio. You shouldn't have any
trouble with your friends next door. My house is only 10 feet away from my
Nabors's and I get no complaints.

Darren,

What is a vgs1?

Also, will this radio and I cause interference with my crabby old neighbor
next door?

She is just crazy. <smile.

Long story. She accuses my husband and I of playing music at all hours and
we don't even play music. I'm sure some of you have had crabby old neighbors
living next to you and know what I mean. <grin.

Thanks.
Oh we live in a condo complex where many restrictions re antennas apply.

Hugs and 73
