Sure, and you will find lots of opinions how.  I use goldwave from
http://www.goldwave.com
You select line input in sounds and audio, record the sides of tape as wave 
files, then cut them out in to separate tracks for each song, and convert 
them if you wish.  Their are lots of goldwave resources out there.
