Hello, everyone.

Don't forget that the North American QSO Party SSB contest is this week-end.

Specifically, the contest runs from 1 p.m. Eastern time tomorrow until 1
a.m. Eastern time on Sunday morning. The maximum contest operating time for
a single-op effort is 10 hours.

The NAQP will be on all of the normal contest HF bands, from 10 through
160.

The contest exchange is quite simple-just your name, and your
state/province.

As is true with the CW contest, this is a very friendly contest and is lots
of fun, since you often run into many of the same people on different bands.
It's also a great way to test antennas and equipment. The other nice thing
is that everyone is limited to 100 watts, which gives those of us with
relatively low-profile stations a better shot at effectively competing with
all the others.

I plan to operate on as many bands as possible tomorrow, propagation
willing, of course. I'll start on the higher bands, and then work my way
down to 40, 80, and 160 meters as we get into the evening and night-time
hours.

Looking forward to working some fellow list members tomorrow!
