Hi Dave and others:

I used to do OK with those $30 to $40 headsets, but they never lasted long.
Sometimes I killed them with chair wheels, but some that I still have are of
such poor quality that they pick up so much machine noise that makes them
unusable even though the plugs are still in tact.

I finally went up to a Heil proset media. It isn't USB, but it just has
standard 3.5 mm plugs, and a very well made cable.

73,
Dave

Dave, my headset is a u s b headset mic. I wish one could still find analog
headset mics. I had one I bought at a hamfest until I ran over the cord with
my chair! 73. Doug, N6NFF

Doug,

Is your headset USB or does it use standard analog inputs?
