Hi Albert,

Its very easy to set up. Just make sure you have a frequency set up on 2
meters on one side and another frequency on 440 on the other side of your
transceiver. Make sure that menu 403 is set to cross band which is the
default, and then turn off the power and hold in the tone button while
turning on the power and you'll be in crossband repeat. To turn off the
repeat function, turn offf power and again hold in the tone button wwhen you
hit the power button to turn power back on.

The tone button is the third button from the left on the transceiver.

Hi Bob
I saw your note to Darren about the tmv71a and am interested in using mine
as a cross-band rptr. What are the steps to set that up?
