Anything sounds better than DStar. one club I belong to is in to 
IDAS/Nexedge which is Icom's commercial digital mode and that sounds 
alright, for digital but DStar and older P25 sounds like crap and I can't 
listen to it. New P25 isn't too bad but I don't use it except once in a 
while on 900 MHz.
