Hi ray,

I suggest the Kenwood TH-F6A.  The ht covers 2/22/440 as well as general
coverage receive from 150khz through 1.3ghz.  It is extremely accessible if
you can't see the screen.  Menu selections can be toggled resulting in
different tones.  The menus that scroll have a beep when they roll over.
I've owned one since October last year and give it 99 out of a possible 100.
