Hi Alan,
I enjoyed the demolition derby article that the Braille Monitor publushed a
few years ago.
I read it and grinned and said that guy was a few y ears behind me at
Perkins.
I also enjoyed the post you sent to the list a few months ago about your
college experiences.
Mine were similar at the University of Tampa where I took a degree in
foreign languages.
My Dad showed me the campus.
I had to find my own readers and get books in Braille or from RFB.
Right now here in California we have the disability offices and many of the
students they serve now go around with sighted notetakers.
Give me my slate and stylus any time.
Well I'm off to prepare for another week of work.
One of these days I have to get my magnetic loop antennas working and get
back on the air with CW.
I'm really rusty but I'm su re the skill will come back.
