Hey Terri,

   Don't panic.  If it is just a regular CD like a music disk, it should not 
be hurt if you had sticky fingers.  Years ago my grand kids got into some of 
my music cd's
and they were so sticky with their candy fingers, I just knew they were 
goners.  I took some warm mild soapy water and washed them and patted them 
dry with a soft cloth and they worked as good as ever.
