Steve:
What's the headset mic your playing with? I gotta Apex 850 studio mic which
has a freq response of 80HZ-15KHZ. I tested it out on a mixer in the store
with all setting to flat to hear my natural voice and its sounds very nice
an crisp. Great articulation to use the Heil term. LOL
I needed a boom mic where I have my desk remodeled in the spare room in the
cottage and I no longer have room for a conventional desktop ham mic,
coupled with my laptop and phone for loging. I use the phone as a portable
hot spot and N3FJP software on the laptop connected to it.
I am now putting together my Xmas list list and I would really like a
comfortable headset with nice audio on the mic. I only paid 70 bucks for
the mic and cable so I'm hoping it will be a nice stop gap until I can
afford a really nice headset. Don't really like the Pro Micro Duel I have,
it falls off my head and the audio is just ok from the reports. Not sure if
I'll unload it, won't get back nearly the 150CAN it cost me 2 Xmas's ago,
well Santa, LOL.
