Yeah, I hear you, Harvey.
How things have changed in the last 15 to 20 years, eh?

Well, you're right, of course but if there is a positive side it is that =
there isn't much worth DX-ing anyway because they all do repeat =
programming or satellite programming at night anyway or they throw it on =
computer.

Harvey:
And do you want to know what really bugs me more than anything?
I am now living out here in Colorado, about 20 miles or so northwest =
of=20
Denver. ... Just about all of the AM stations here are digital, which =
means=20
that, on about 20 or 30 khz on either side of them, you get this =
really=20
anoying hash, unless there is a strong station in between that cuts it =
out.
Even at night, although some of them do switch to analog, a m dxing =
is, for=20
most practical purposes, a lost cause.
I guess they call it progress, but, when it comes to the AM broadcast =
band,=20
I'm not so sure of that.

That's all right, Tom. We all have senior moments. Personally, I =3D
didn't think the THF6-A. picked up TV stations very well even when we =
=3D
had analog channels. But as we all know, this digital switch has =
never =3D
been thought out well and has been a debacle since day one because of =
=3D
that.
