You need to measure the voltage right at the radio, I do this by just 
sticking the probes in the back of the power cord where the wires go in.
  Needs to be 13.8 or more.  Tlhis radio is very critical to voltage. 
Mine is also low on power, but I decided not to worry to much about it. 
BTW, the tw1 isn't all that accurate either.  i got much more usable 
readings on my service monitor. We can talk about this on the air some 
time or give me a ll.
