    Bobby:

Well, my procedures are very hard to describe via e-mail, but I think the
main trick is to be very careful to sort out each side of the Anderson Power
Pole connector (i.e. red vs. black), and to develop a systematic way to
check for correct polarity as you go.

The terminals that are used for the power pole connections have a protruding
edge, which I face toward me, as I stick the terminal and power cord wire
into the appropriate hole in the crimper. Then, I close the crimper around
the connection, and, more often than not, it makes a sound crimped
connection.

It will probably take a number of tries until you get a system down for
yourself, but if I can do it, anyone can! (grin)

I suspect that others on the list will have different suggestions, and I
will read them with interest if they are willing to share them.

Hope this helps at least a little.

Tom:

I bought the power pole crimper a while back, but haven't tried to use it.
Can you give me some tips on using the crimper being blind? Thanks.
