I am not saying that hams do not or should not use DCS.  I am just asking in a tongue in cheek sort of way if this is a bit anti-communal in the sense that ham radio is not meant to replace private point to point communications in the  specific scheme of things.  experimentation with the methodology is however in the spirit of the engendering of the hobby.
