I tried to connect to you It sounds like I am connected to you.
How can I check if muted or wrong plug?

Sorry for all questions. I had bee using Echolink a few PCs ago and it was

Hi John!

Your mic is muted in software.

Also possible your microphone is connected to the wrong plug on the sound
card.

That's a couple more things for you to check out.

My echolink is open at the moment, so you're welcome to connect to WD8LDY.
If I hear anything, I'll respond.

73,
Dave

Subject: ECHOLINK Question

Hello all.

I have solved all my Firewall and Router issues - All tests passed.

My next questions -

I have a Microphone connected and when I check it is a valid device

I set the PTT to Space Bar

Connect to Test Server

I never hear anything back after the test Transmission

Any suggestions as to what I did not set?
