The auto tuner sends the letters SWR in CW, but it did that with even the
dummy load too! When I key it with my key, it works with break-in, but no
output. I thought maybe the transmitter, or at least the final transistors,
were on a separate fuse and maybe that fuse blew, but according to the
manual, there is only two fuses, one 4 amp fuse that is associated with the
external antenna tuner circuit and the main, 25 amp fuse that is in the
power cord line. That fuse is obviously ok because if it were blown, nothing
would work!

Now, I am really jealous of you guys that have a back-up rig, and some of
you even have back-ups to your back-ups!! <lol> I guess I better head down
to Huntsville and see if I can pick up a back-up rig at the hamfest! <lol>

Ron,

One more thought from the dark recesses of my foggy brain:

Does the auto tuner work? It has to put out some RF to find a match.
