I haven't had a chance to read this book yet, but everyone should read a
book called, "Dumming down our Kids," by Charles Sykes.  It tells it pretty
much like it is.

I just got finished listening to the ARRL audio news, and if I understood it
right, Canadian radio amateurs either have to pass the written test with an
80 percent grade, or they still have to fulfill the code requirement.
