Hi All,
The new 6BTV arrived yesterday afternoon. My friend Richard, w4jnc is coming over tomorrow and we will put it together. I don't know if we will get it up in time for the 20 meter net but will try.

  Subject: New Antenna coming!

  Hi All
As you may remember I was having SWR problems with my Gap Challenger so was planning to take it down so as to check it out. Unfortunately before I could get it down under a controlled environment it came down all buy itself due to some heavy weather over this last weekend. The resulting damage was so extensive that it has been dismantled for disposal. That's the bad news! The good news is that I just ordered a DX Engineering 6BTV for 80/40/30/20/15/10 meters. The new antenna should be here sometime early next week. Yes, I know, it needs radials so I have a few ideas to try out in my extremely small patio area. Also, later on, I can get ad-ons for 12/17 and 60 meters.

Stay tuned for the next exciting chapter hahaha!

  Best of 73's,
  Albert, WA7FXB
