Hi;
I know a few folks here have used an hf9v vertical. The good news is
that I stumbled upon some very talented help and might get my antenna
issues resolved. The not so good news is that this was taken apart,
cleaned, put back up and my problem persists. 80 and 40 meters work as
expected but the rest has a very very low impedance. We checked all
three capacitors and they are good. I am using the matching cable at
the base to bring the impedance down to 50 ohms. We're going to take it
down again later this week but wonder if anyone has some thoughts as to
what to look for?
