Steve, you're probably right although I haven't played with an I-phone yet. 
But that banner feature on the Samsung Haven is a pain because every time 
you do a tower or programming update, you have to redo the banner if you 
don't want your phone number to be blurted out in public.  I don't bother 
with that any more, I just press any key to silence it before my whole 
number is spoken.
