Fred:

I use the ARB704 with my Amaritron AL811H amplifier.

Some have suggested it is not necessary, but I bought it as a way to help
protect the relays on my rig.

I power mine via my Astron RS35 power supply and rigrunner Anderson Power
Pole setup.

All you need for the power cord to the aRB704 is the correct size DC power
plug. I think the center is negative, but I'm sure the documentation could
tell you, as could others on the list.

I hope this helps.

Subject: Ameritron ARB 704 relay

Are any of you guys on the list using the Ameritron ARB 704 relay buffer
between your radio and amplifier and if so how do you like it? If you are
using the ARB 704, how do you power it.I have one that I have had for
several years and I have lost the wire that I think powers the ARB 704. I
am trying to find out about it so I know if I need for Ameritron to send me
a new one or if I can get one made up. I would like to use this relay with
my bedroom radio. I will appreciate any suggestions on this.

Thanks much,
