Well, maybe I should have hung in there a little longer for 160 to pick up 
for my part of the country.

As I said, I think I stayed up until around 11:30 or so, but then packed it 
in for a day.

Oh well, live and learn, I guess.

Will keep you posted on my amp situation.

Maybe, as you say, it was pilot error.

I just didn't want to mess around with things too much late Saturday night, 
and risk screwing something up more, thereby putting me at a disadvantage 
for the rest of the contest.
