Hi all: 

I know that dStar is based on 20 year old tech that Icom is pushing and supporting but I wouldn't mind having either a 2m handi or mobile that would give me an option to talk all over the globe with out having either added PC software or add on boards. 
In other words an echolink type mode built in. 
That said, I wrote George at amateur logic TV to ask Ray Novac from Icom, if they intend to to make dStar accessible. 
I think that those who are interested should write amateur logic and get to Icom this way because of their partnership with the show.
