Ok, folks, thought I'd throw this question out. Need to get antenna
suggestions. I've been living in a house and running a G5RV but have had to
move to an apartment.

Ok, I cannot attach anything to the building structure, I have no trees, and I
have one pole that I can use that is 14ft tall. I have a couple clothes line
poles that are roughly six feet tall and that's about it. I could run some sort
of wire but I've nothing to attach the ends to. Since I can't use the roof or
any part of the building there's no help there. It is a one story building
which helps but that 14ft pole is really about what I've got. If something
wasn't too heavy I think I could extend the thing to 20ft or so. Its a 3 inch
pole and its concreted into the ground. Its heavy steel so its not going
anywhere.

Oh, they're pretty iffie about my running any kind of wires to hold a pole in
place.

I've got a ts-2000 so have 160m-70cm. I'm thinking to get a duplexer and run a
j-pole for 2m and 70cm so am really looking for 6m and down.

The building itself is stone so I have to drill holes between stones from the
outside through whatever it is that's holding the things together. I've got an
ok for that but that means no breakout box or any suh: just running one or two
cables through the wall. I'll also be able to run one or two 8ft ground rods
near my window. The pole is about 5ft outside the window so cable length won't
be a problem.

Tom
