Hi!

I am thinking about getting the Ameritron ALS-1306 (link below) for use with
my Kenwood TS-2000. Since I am really new to this, I have a few questions
about this, as follows:

1) The Ameritron ALS-1306 appears to be just as "blind friendly" as the
Ameritron ALS-600; only the 1306 is 160M - 6M and has 1,200 watts. Am I
correct about this "blind friendliness?"

2) Pardon my ignorance here, but I am not sure how this all hooks up. Am I
correct that a) two separate cables run from the TS-2000's "Ant 1" and "Ant
2" jacks into two separate "Ant 1" and "Ant 2" jacks on the Ameritron, and
then b) there are two separate jacks for "Ant 1" and "Ant 2" on the
Ameritron that connect to the actual antennas? Also, would an antenna tuner
(e.g., the MFJ 998) connect between one of the Ameritron's "Ant 1" or "Ant
2" out jacks and the actual antenna?

I will have many more questions about all this new stuff for me!
