The Hims Inc. book players are far better than the Stream. First and
foremost, the Stream does not get loud enough to be able to be heard well
without using earbuds or external speakers. That was and still is the main
reason I will not go near the Stream unless this has been fixed recently,
and I don't know about it. The one product I have of HumanWare's started
having problems very early after I got it, and HumanWare would not help me
figure out the problem nor take it in to be looked at even though at the
time, there was still plenty of warranty left on it. Hims Inc. has always
been helpful, and my BookCense is still working as well as it did almost six
years ago when I purchased it, and I am planning on purchasing a Blaze at
some point when money allows.

Here are some things to be aware of about the Blaze. internet radio and
downloading podcasts work very much like the bookport plus and plextalk
pocket.
The Stream has a much better implementation of internet radio and podcasts.
I
feel that the Stream has a better way of organizing it's content.
At this point in time, the Blaze won't play content from Audible. Learning
Ally has no plans at this point in time to support playback of there content
on the Blaze. The Blaze doesn't have NFB Newsline like the Stream.

Hi list, just wondering if any of you have experience with the Blaze ET unit
that has OCR built in as well as a host of other ways to read stuff?
Thanks, Jim WA6EKS
