    Well, John, I think I solved my problem.  I found a menu choice that 
said sort by memories, and that's what I did, rather than sort by frequency, 
and the frequencies are now going in the way I want them, at least so far.

You do know the memories are all the same for both bands? memory 1 for
example if you put 147.195 in there, it will be the same for A or B. The
VFO's are independent but the memories aren't. Other than that, I'm not sure
what you're asking.
