I've used the remote base software, and I have made contacts with it, both
stateside and a couple DX stations, one in Italy and another in Japan. While
it is accessible using JAWS, it is also quite challenging. It is my
understanding that there is a more accessible version of the software in the
works. Hopefully, it will be available soon.

Subject: handiham base

Hi;
Just wondering if we have many screen reader users who have tried the
handiham remote base and how usable the software was? I have seen some
varying opinions. This would give someone who is already a computer user an
extremely cheap way to get started.
